Pesticides
Pesticides are a substance or many substances or mixtures, that are used to kill pests, or annoying creatures, mosquitos, ants, etc. There are good things and bad things about pesticides, for instance they kill "pests". That is a good thing, for instance if you have a weed choking your flowers you want to use pesticides to kill it. The bad things about using pesticides are that they can be toxic to humans and animals. Lets say an animal comes to chew on a flower that is spread with pesticides on it, it then dies of toxic chemicals. So there are good and bad things about pesticides.
This article is definitely important because if you ever have a farm, like people that have them do. They sometimes spread pesticides over their crops, and by reading this article you can see that it may not be such a good idea after all, although there are some pros and cons i guess.
I do agree with this article, i do think that pesticides can definitely be toxic to humans and animals, they could also kill "pests".

Reproduction
Reproduction is the biological process by which new individual organisms are produced. Reproduction is a fundamental feature of all known life; each individual organism exists as the result of reproduction. There are two well known groups of reproduction: sexual and asexual. In asexual reproduction, an individual can reproduce without involvement with another individual of that species. The dividing of a bacterial cell into two daughter cells is an example of asexual reproduction. Sexual reproduction requires the involvement of two individuals, typically one of each sex. Normal human reproduction is a common example of sexual reproduction.
I think that reproduction is very important because if people or animals didn't keep reproducing babies then there would only be a few of each species in the world, and when they die off then there will be nothing left in the world. But if people keep reproducing more babies then there will constantly be living organisms on the earth.
I do agree with this article because I think that reproduction is a MUST for the earth. People and animals have to keep reproducing more babies so that they can make more babies so that there will never be an extinct species. It also states correctly the two types of reproduction: sexual, and asexual.

Aspirin and colorectal cancer

Many studies have shown that the regular use of aspirin reduces the risk of colorectal neoplasms. Quite how this works is not clear but it is thought to be related to prostaglandin metabolism or, more specifically, to aspirin's ability to inhibit the enzyme cyclo-oxygenase-2 (COX-2).

If this is the mechanism by which aspirin reduces colorectal cancers then it would be cancers that over-express COX-2 that would occur less frequently in aspirin users. Scientist looked at this theory by histochemical assays of cancers removed from men and women in two large surveys and matched these against aspirin intake. They found that cancers that over-express COX-2 were reduced by aspirin but not cancers that had weak COX-2 expression.

The effect was found relative to increasing aspirin dose and duration of use. Scientists showed that 300mg per day for 5 years is effective in primary prevention but the latency time is 10 years so patients have to be dedicated to their health.

Indeed, in my entourage, several doctors now prescribe Aspegic for baby to their patients starting from the 50 years age. The amount is 1 sachet per day. In my concern I hope that it is true.

Boys like blue, girls like Pink, its in our genes!!
The thought that little girls like Pink and little boys like Blue is actually because of their genes!A study has been shown that the person's favorite color is because of their sex. THeir is a scientific bases that causes girls to have affection to pink s fast as they could, each young man and woman had to choose their preferred colour from a series of paired, coloured rectangles shown on a computer screen. The universally preferred colour for both sexes was blue, but females also showed a distinct preference for reddish colours!
I dont really believe in this, I dont think that for each sex there is a favorite colour! Color comes from your taste not because of your sex. For example, my favorite color is pink and black! Black is the darkest color, and I dont think that its because Im a girl. But though, most girls like pink, and many guys also like pink or purple... Its all a matter of taste, and not a matter of sex... :D This is not really important, but its interesting to know about!!!
PS: I love weekends!! ;)
Blah blah blah blah .....

It has taken many years, but now scientists can confirm that there is methane on Mars. In our planet, methane is a bioproduct of bacteria, but it may have another production source in Mars.Observations have shown that methane is present only during the summer. It might mean that it is produced under the surface and released when the ice on the surface melts. However, methane might be a result of reactions between water and rock or simply produced by rock. It might also have been produced ages ago and is just now being released. A new research in 2011 might give us more answers.
I believe this article is very important because it may suggest the presence of bacteria on the planet Mars. Not only that, but it gives us more understanding about the gaseous composition of this planet. However, new research on the subject is needed. Methane can have many sources; having methane does not necessarly indicate the presence of life. Nevertheless, it is a very interesting discovery and can be even more puzzling if in fact it can be proven that methane on Mars is produced by bacteria.

bees get help from flowers they have found cone shaped cells in 80% of the flowers some thought they made flowers more attractive to bees by enhancing their color or by increasing the plant's but in the United Kingdom had a different theory that the cells provided traction In the wild, a flower isn't just a stationary dinner plate Cells that allow bees to latch on as a flower is waving in the wind make more population and would be an evolutionary plus When the casts are horizontal, the bees are equally attracted to flat and bumpy petals and when the casts are placed at an angle or vertically, the bees are far more likely to choose the petals with a rough surface However, bees attempting to feed on smooth petals slipped around, their middle legs scrambling on the petal surface while their wings beat furiously Beating their wings costs bees a lot of energy Animals want to gather as much energy as possible as quickly as possible so bees would want to gather there enegry whiole eating
